Fujimi WN-9 1/700 IJN Battleship Nagato 1944 - Sho Ichigo Operation
This kit reproduces the battleship Nagato as she appeared during Operation Sho-Ichi-Go and the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944, featuring late-war radar equipment, strengthened anti-aircraft armament, and numerous sealed portholes. Colour-separated parts and snap-fit construction allow a realistic finish without painting or glue, and a dedicated sea-surface display base is included.
Kit Features:
- Hull moulded in grey representing Kure Naval Arsenal Grey, with dedicated parts reproducing open and sealed portholes
- Detailed degaussing cables and fittings along the hull sides
- Main guns can elevate and rotate, with open 40cm gun barrel muzzles
- Dedicated No.2 and No.3 turret roofs reproduce additional anti-aircraft gun positions
- One-piece secondary casemate guns and 25mm anti-aircraft guns
- Multi-level bridge accurately reproduces the late-war configuration with Type 21 and Type 22 radar
- Detailed funnel with integrated steam and whistle pipes and an open top grille
- Multi-part mast reproduces the supports, cross-trees, and yards
- Includes a Type 0 observation seaplane moulded in dark green with finely engraved panel lines
