This is a plastic snap fit model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required. This "snap fit" model can be assembled without glue.
The plane was designed by Lavochkin, Gorbunov and Gudkov. In 1941, LaGG was the best-armed fighter of Red army, although pilots considered it too heavy and didn't like this plane. However, since at that time Red army didn't have a better plane, so the pilots had to use the available aircraft.
