Base colour for DAK camouflage scheme introduced in March, 1942, combined with RAL 7027, covering a proportion of 2/3rds of the vehicle. This colour was also use in the Crete campaign and for camouflage of canvas covers on vehicles. Modellers will be able to paint Deutsche Afrika Korps vehicles without complex mixes and hours of research. Just shake it and use it. This colour has been formulated in consideration of the Scale Reduction Effect (subtle lighter than actual colour), to obtain the correct colours in AK's kits. The paint is designed to be effective for airbrush and brush and is water-soluble - avoiding strong smells and harmful solvents. It can be easily thinned with AK's specific acrylic thinner or water if necessary.
