1/35 Urban North Italy

More generic set that adapts to all countries and cities of Northern Italy. It consists of four objects:
1 Fountain
2 Plaques away
1 Manhole

These objects have been entirely designed from scratch and highly detailed as in the style of HD Models company.

The fountain also called "vedovella" is composed of four resin elements, the hat is removable as in reality to give wide possibility of customization, the grid is not a flat but round and superdecilled photo.

The "Vedovella" of Milan
The widows are the typical fountains of Milan, so called because the incessant water wire that flows is compared to the crying of a widow.
Distributed throughout the territory of the Municipality of Milan, I am currently in operation 481.
They are made of cast iron, in the typical Ramarro green color and were designed in 1931. The first fountain is that of Piazza della Scala, which differs from the others due to the fact of being in bronze.
In the Lombard area there are other similar types, some still bearing the signs of the fascist period, or the shield with the city logo that houses them.
The widowers do not have a tap. For this reason many can think that I generate waste of water, but it is not so.
First of all, the amount of water supplied by the fountains is unresolst compared to the scope of water distributed by the Milanese aqueduct; In fact, against a medium instant total flow delivered by the aqueduct of about 7500 liters / second, the scope of the set of fountains is about only 10 liters per second.
Furthermore, the continuous flow of widowers is not only useful for thirst, but also carries out the important function of maintaining water always moving, preserving the freshness and good quality at the blind terminal pipes, the so-called "heads death".
In addition, the interruption of the flow would determine water stagnation and would contribute to the formation of bacterial flora around the mouth of the "dragon" from which water flows. It must also be remembered that the scope coming out of the fountains does not disperse unnecessarily but, through the sewerage, reaches the purifiers of Milan, and is therefore used by the agricultural consortia for the irrigation of the fields south of the city.
