TopNotch 48-M114 1/48 Spitfire Mk Vb RAF Europe Camo Masks
Out Of Stock
More Spitfire Mk Vs were built than any other type The B wing had four .303 in and two 20 mm Hispano cannon, and a was a more powerful engine, the Merlin 45.
The first Mk V was produced in January 1941, No. 92 squadron being the first to receive it in February 1941. While as good as the bf109-f the Mk V would soon find itself outclassed by the entrance of the FW190. This led to the "Clipped wing" version which help the roll rate of the Spitfire at lower altitudes and was an interim measure to deal with the FW190.
This set includes only the camouflage pattern. Serial numbers, code letters and other markings are not included.
