Tamiya 61128 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109 G-6 Late Fighter

This 1/48 scale assembly kit faithfully recreates the Bf109 G-6 Late Model.
Recreate one of WWII's most iconic fighters with the 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109 G-6 Late Model kit. Building on Tamiya's earlier Bf109 G-6 early production model, this kit features new parts to capture the late model's distinctive details, including the Erla Haube canopy, unique engine cowlings, and 21 cm rocket launchers under the wings. The Bf109 was the most produced fighter in history, with the G-6 variant alone numbering 13,000. Introduced in 1943, the G-6 featured the ''Beule'' engine bulge, revised machine gun panels, and improved canopy visibility. Used on both the Western and Eastern fronts, it was a formidable opponent against Allied bombers and Soviet aircraft, making it a true legend of the skies.
