Special Hobby SH72195 1/72 British Fairey Firefly FR.Mk.I "ASH Radar"

This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.
Firefly FR.Mk.I was the final version of this two seat fighter that participated in the fights of World War 2. The addition of the AHS anti-ship radar (US provenience N/APS-4) also marked the return of the originally Firefly fighters to reconnaissance, attack and anti-submarine roles. Mainly the post war Mk.4/5/6 versions served in the latter roles. During the World War 2 Firefly FR.Mk.Is served over European seas but also with British Pacific Fleet. The post war ervice lasted into fifties. Except of the Fleet Air Arm Firefly FR.Mk.Is were also used by Royal Canadian Navy.
