3. Bf 109F-4/ Trop 4./JG 27, Doberitz, Germany, September 1941. Starboard side of the same aircraft. Seen in Germany a week before its delivery flight to 4./ JG 27, it has standard desert camouflage of RLM 78/79.
4. Bf 109F-4/ Trop WNr 8693. Lt. Hans Joachim Marseille, 3./JG 27, Maturba, Libya, February 1942.
5. Bf 109F-4/Z Trop 7./JG 27, December 1941. Shot down soon after its arrival in North Africa, this Bf 109F has RLM 78/79 camouflage with a low demarcation line. The lll. Gruppe bar and individual number are in white outlined in black and the Mediterranean white band, nose and wing tips are present as is an RLM 04 cowling underside.
