Hobby Boss 80377 1/48 Messerschmitt Me 262 A-2a/U2

This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required. The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first jet fighter in the world. Project work had begun at Messerschmitt as early as April 1939 on a new high-speed fighter plane the propulsion of which was to consist of the "turbine jet" system. And on 18th July 1942 the Me 262 took off on his first flight. The Me 262 was powered by two Jumo 004B type engines giving the Me 262 a maximum speed of 870km/hat an altitude of 6000m. Its service ceiling was 11400m and its range was 1050km. Basic armament consists of 4x30mm MK108 cannon installed in the nose. In addition, 2x12 type R4M rockets could be carried the wings.
