Distinguished by its "stretched" design, the 767-300 was officially announced by Boeing in February 1983. Japan Airlines was the first major airliner to place orders for the aircraft. Other airliners, including All Nippon Airways?, American Airlines? and Delta?, quickly followed suit. The 767-300 entered service with JAL in October 1986, and remains in wide use today. Currently, JAL has 18 standard 767-300s and 28 extended range models, with four more on the way. Kit features new decal markings for JAL, Code JA654J, February 28, 2011.
