The Airfix Typhoon Mk.I kit provides the option to display the wing armament and ammo compartments open. However, these features are inaccurately represented, with the wing cannons positioned incorrectly. This set rectifies these issues by including new ammo boxes, accurately positioned cannon breaches, a correctly sized covering panel, and a new leading edge section of the wing to ensure that the cannon barrels are positioned correctly.
