Tamiya 35365 1/35 US Airborne M551 Sheridan (Vietnam)

This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required. This is a brand new addition to the legendary Tamiya 1/35 scale Military Miniature Series, recreating the M551 Sheridan Armoured Reconnaissance/Airborne Assault Vehicle (AR/AAV). The M551 was designed as airdrop capable armour with wading capabilities, a key concept as the U.S. took on the role of global policeman post-WWII. With an aluminum hull and rolled steel turret, it weighed just 15 tons, but had impressive firepower in the shape of the M81 152mm gun/ launcher, which could fie standard rounds and MGM-51 Shillelagh missiles.
