1/35 German PzKpfw.VI Tiger I Wheel Mask for Rye Field Models kit RM-5001
Note: This set does NOT include any armour kit and wheels.
It's a new product for AFV modellers that reduces time spent on painting rubber tyres by a great deal.
Masks for painting rubber tyres on:
Tiger I - Rye Field Models (Cat.No. RM-5001)
QuickWheel masks can be re-used several times after (or without) washing them. For detailed instructions you may visit the website at www.quickwheel.eu
"This is the best wheel mask I've ever seen." (Scott Van Aken - modelingmadness.com)
How-to:
Preparing the masks: Masks should not be stretched during the application process as they are flexible and this could cause deformation. Remove the whole mask if necessary, and then apply again. Once placed on the model, the mask surface should be adjusted to the surface of the model by tracing all the indentations with a pointed wooden stick.
Painting method: Try not to apply two coats of colour at the edges of a mask. Instead, apply one colour prior to painting the proper camouflage, and apply the other colour after the mask is back on. Otherwise, the coating in the areas encased by the mask may be too thick, and after removing the mask the edges of the lighter colour may become visible.
