It flows smoothly in an airbrush, adheres to the surface effectively, and dries perfectly with a soft matte finish. It securely holds all kinds of weathering products. For optimal results, it can be diluted with AK701/AK702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners specifically designed for lacquer-based paints.
Introduced as the new standard upper surface colour of Luftwaffe aircraft in the summer of 1944. This khaki version is based on one of the three officially approved formulas to be used depending on the available component supply of a particular paint manufacturer.
