The Aoba-class naval cruiser Kinugasa was tragically sunk by the Enterprise during the final battle of Guadalcanal on November 14, 1942. 511 members of her crew, including the captain and executive officer, met an unfortunate fate that day. Our small-scale model kit honors the Kinugasa and her crew with its highly realistic construction, including detailed markings commemorating the day when she was forever lost.
