Fujimi 1/350-No1 EX-1 1/350 IJN Battleship Kongou (Bridge)
This product uses the mold of the existing 1/350 scale battleship Kongo.
The product is modeled after the Shoichigo Operation in October 1944.
The main parts of the bridge are molded in gray, imitating the color of the Sasebo Naval Arsenal.
The bridge windows and searchlights are made of clear molded parts. A display stand and a sticker with the ship's name are included.
The range is reproduced from the top deck to the top No. 21 radar, including the second turret connected to the shelter deck at the front. Each floor of the bridge is layered, and the tripod support and rear angle iron are inserted to assemble it .
The shelter deck is expressed with delicate carvings to represent the wooden deck.
The intake and exhaust vents and machine gun ammunition boxes on the wooden deck are made into separate parts, reducing the need for separate painting.
The 25mm machine guns arranged on all four sides of the bridge are unique to 1/350, and the twin/triple guns are made of four parts.
The five windows of the compass bridge, lower lookout post, combat bridge, observation post and upper lookout post are reproduced with clear parts.
Each floor has its own sculpted grating and linoleum holder.
The ladder is a separate part.
The main gun barrel can be elevated or lowered. The canvas part is a separate part to allow for painting.
The 4.5 meter rangefinder is fitted with a polycap and can be rotated.
Binocular telescope parts are provided to add a sense of detail to the observation post and air defense command post.
The angle of the rangefinder support structure on the back of the bridge is lightly reproduced with sculpted holes, giving it a sense of detail.
Delicate parts such as the Type 90 radio telephone antenna and E27 radio detector are reproduced with separate parts.
The product is an unpainted kit that requires assembly and painting. The molded parts are gray (Sasebo Naval Arsenal color), transparent, and the base parts are black, making it a three-color configuration. There are approximately 250 parts.
