Fujimi WN-1 1/700 IJN Battleship Yamato (1945/Operation Tenichigo)

(Structure and specifications)

(Product features)
- Modeled after the Ten-Ichi-Go Operation (Okinawa Special Attack Operation) in April 1945. Scale is 1/700.
- The display sea surface base three-dimensionally expresses the wake waves generated by the bow, side, and propeller.

The hull
and hull are divided into left and right parts and divided by the waterline. Molded in a special gray color that imitates the warship color used at the Kure Naval Arsenal.
- Since many of the portholes are blocked, the side parts are specially made, and the unblocked windows are concavely engraved and the closed windows are convexly engraved for a sharp reproduction.
- The outside electrical wiring attached to the side is firmly expressed even to the fastening part.

The armament
and main gun can be elevated and rotated. Realized a realistic design with a minimum number of parts. - The 46 cm main gun barrel is open using a slide mold.
- Special parts are prepared for both the main gun canopy and the machine gun turret to reproduce the additional machine gun turrets on the No. 2 and No. 3 main gun canopies.
- The secondary gun can be rotated, and the barrel and turret are integrated into one piece structure.

The bridge
and bridge are divided and slide molded to minimize the joints between the parts, and the parts are integrated.
- The No. 22 radar on both sides of the bridge is a special item that reproduces the relocated appearance.
- The 15 meter rangefinder and compass are designed to be rotatable.
- Special parts are prepared for the additional personnel waiting area and the expanded signal station deck behind the bridge.

Chimney/Mast
- The chimney is a left-right combination type, and the steam exhaust pipe, whistle pipe, and monkey ladder are all integrated into one piece. The top cap (lattice) is removed for a very realistic shape with a sense of depth.
The mast is a two-piece structure, and is designed to integrate the No. 13 radar that was installed at that time.

Two types of aircraft
are included in the special dark green color parts.
- One Zero-type (three-seat) seaplane reconnaissance aircraft and one Zero-type observation aircraft.
- The panel lines are concavely engraved, and the propeller is integrated with the aircraft using a slide mold for precise expression.

Exhibition sea surface base
- A special mold part made of plastic that matches the Yamato-type waterline shape. (Mold/Made in 2025)
- External dimensions are length 396 x width 134 x height (approx.) 17 mm, molding color is clear blue (color /B01)
- Reproduces the waves spreading from the bow to the side of the ship, the suppressed sea surface on the side of the ship, and the sea surface shape generated by the propeller.
- The cross section of the ship at the waterline is compatible with the Yamato-type of the special series in addition to the Kan NEXT series.
- The bow part comes with three 1 mm thick spacers (made of paper) to increase the height.
