1/700 IJN Battleship Musashi (1944/Sho Ichigo Operation) Full Hull with PE parts
The battleship Musashi was the second ship of the Yamato-class, the last type of ship designed and constructed by the Imperial Japanese Navy, and was completed in August 1942 at the Kure Naval Arsenal, the year after the outbreak of war. It was an unprecedented vessel, equipped with nine 46-cm guns, the largest in the world, and displacing 64,000 tons. On the same day of completion, it was incorporated into the Combined Fleet. In this era, aircraft were becoming the main force, and Musashi was refitted to strengthen its anti-aircraft armament, and deployed in the Battle of the Mariana Islands and the Battle of Leyte Gulf. In October 1944, the US military landed in the Philippines, and Musashi participated in Operation Sho-Ichi-Go (Battle of Leyte Gulf) as part of a fleet that brought together the full strength of the Combined Fleet, including Yamato and Nagato, but was sunk in the Sibuyan Sea by an air attack.

The product is modeled after the ship's appearance around October after the completion of construction in August 1942.
The product is a full hull specification that can reproduce the bottom of the ship, and comes with a pedestal that can be displayed after completion.
The ship-based floatplanes are two types, the Zero observation plane and the Zero (three-seat) floatplane, two of each are included.
The included decals include three types of decals that reproduce the naval ensign, the Japanese flag, and the markings of the ship-based aircraft.
The 25mm twin machine guns include both the conventional one-piece structure parts and more precise two-piece parts.
The 25mm machine guns are two-piece, and the gunmetal of the barrel and the hull color of the base are painted separately to make it easy to reproduce.
Etching parts are included that can be expressed in detail, even down to the details that are difficult to reproduce with injection parts.
Etching parts include handrails, ladders, around the chimney, masts, electric radar, azimuth measurement antenna, boat davits, and cranes.

Please note that due to monitor and image resolution issues, the color of the actual product may look different. The product is new and unopened.
