ARTO production 35003 1/35 SS-Hsuf. Josef Diefenthal

This figure is Josef "Jupp" Diefenthal, Chief of the III.(gep.)/ SS-Panzer Grenadier Regiment 2 at the time of the battle of Ardenne 1944.
His image at the time of the Battle of Ardenne is recorded in photographs and film.
He is wearing a French sheepskin jacket.
It was captured by the Germans in large numbers after the French invasion in 1940, and was used by many of the Germans serving on the French front at the time such as WH, Waffen SS, Kriegsmarine, Luftwaffe, and U-boat crews as well.
His pants are in Italian camouflage, and he holds a flare in his right hand.
