The No. 38 issue of "Racing Pictorial Series by HIRO" will be focusing on the Grand Prix 1968 F1 season. From the death of the symbolic driver Jim Clark, the rising of the Ford Cossworth DFV engine, the aerodynamics parts such as the high wings debuts, to the sponsorship from tobacco companies, this year is one of the turning point of the motorsports history.
The race season still had tons of attractive cars running in the circuit, although after the death of Clark, the championship of this year was belonged to the Team Lotus and the brillant Type49, driven by Graham Hill who lead the team. The McLaren team, which famous from their usage of the team colour "Kiwi Orange", Denis Hulme joined and the perfect combination "Bruce and Denny" drove the new M7A and achieved 1-2 finish in Canada GP. The two young racing genius, Chris Amon and Jacky Icxx, drove the Ferrari 312 and achieved good results. In contrast, the teams like Brabham, Cooper, Eagle (All American Racers) are comparably less attractive, and together presenting the vigorous fights of the whole season.
