To make your M198 towed howitzer model by Trumpeter look as realistic as possible, we have created a high-detail 3D-printed wheels set that includes both ordinary wheels and sagged (weighted) wheels in one box.
This combination allows you to accurately represent the weight of the artillery system and achieve a correct stance in both transport and firing positions - especially effective in dioramas.
All components are designed based on real prototypes. During development, we carefully studied reference photos, available drawings, and technical documentation to accurately reproduce:
tire tread pattern
sidewall shape and surface relief
wheel rim geometry and proportions
natural tire deformation in the Sagged version
High-resolution photopolymer 3D printing ensures sharp geometry, deep tread detail, and a level of fidelity that significantly exceeds standard kit-supplied wheels. The wheels are easy to paint, respond well to weathering techniques, and integrate naturally into any M198 model.
