1/35 German Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger Heavy Tank - Operation Goodwood 1944
On July 18, 1944, amidst the smoke of Operation Goodwood, a Sherman tank commanded by British Lieutenant Gorman unexpectedly encountered King Tiger No. 122 of the German 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion. Faced with a massive disparity in firepower and a sudden gun malfunction, Gorman resolutely ordered a full-speed ramming manoeuvre, executing a legendary "armoured brawl". In the ensuing chaos, King Tiger 122 caught fire after being struck by a stray shell and was ultimately finished off by a Firefly tank that Gorman had commandeered. This legendary engagement - combining a collision, tank abandonment, and a dramatic escape - remains an eternal classic of the Normandy battlefield.

ES-011 1/35 German Heavy Tank Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger Operation Goodwood 1944 focuses on the damaged state of King Tiger No. 122 after the collision. Based on the King Tiger (Porsche Turret) model, the kit features high-precision 3D-printed side skirts to replicate combat damage, alongside crew figures created through digital sculpting and 3D printing. This set includes full interior components, movable suspension and workable tracks, high-precision Zimmerit decals, and fine PE parts. Two distinct paint schemes for the 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion are provided.
