M1A2 SEP V2: The Heavily Armoured Behemoth Equipped with "Trophy" APS

As the backbone of the U.S. Army's armoured forces, the M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank continues its iterative evolution under the System Enhancement Package (SEP) programme. Notably, the M1A2 SEP V2 variant features a comprehensive digital upgrade, integrating new-generation thermal imagers and full-colour display and control terminals, elevating its battlefield situational awareness to unprecedented heights. Furthermore, the addition of the CROWS (Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station) significantly bolsters its close-quarters firepower in complex environments. To effectively counter increasingly severe battlefield threats, the vehicle is also equipped with the renowned Trophy Active Protection System (APS). Relying on phased-array radars for 360-degree omnidirectional early warning, the system can fire interceptors to instantly neutralise incoming Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) and Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPGs), effectively cloaking this land behemoth in a robust layer of "smart armour".
