1/35 Hungarian 44M Tas

This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.

The 44MTAS tank was designed both as a main battle tank and tank destroyer equipped with a75mmgun. The design was preferred over having to develop a turretless tank destroyer armed with an 88mm gun. Developed in 1943, it was intended to replace the inferior Hungarian 40m Turan and and 43m Zrinyi. Mass production would have stared in 1945 but the factory and prototype were destroyed in 1944.
