1/72 M1A1 Abrams AIM

Dragon's Armor Pro series is proudly offering retooled 1/72 scale kits of the M1 Abrams main battle tank. These new kits are almost brand new, with only the running gear and lower hull being reused from previously released Abrams kits. One of these brand new 1/72 scale kits represents the M1A1 AIM tank, where 'AIM' stands for Abrams Integrated Management. The AIM program saw reconditioned tanks receive a forward-looking infrared and far target locate sensors, a tank-infantry phone, updated communications equipment (including Blue Force Tracking and FBCB2) and a thermal sight for the 12.7mmmachine gun.
Armor Pro previously offered an M1A1 AIM in its collection, but this latest kit is more precisely detailed than its predecessor thanks to the retooling that offers components such as a slide-molded turret, upper hull and one-piece 120mm gun barrel.
