This 1/35 scale M2HB Twin .50 Cal Machine Gun Mount with Improvised Gun Shield depicts a rare, field-modified weapon installation inspired by real battlefield ingenuity rather than standard issue equipment.
Designed to suit a range of U.S. vehicles from the Vietnam War-particularly the M113 APC-this set features twin Browning M2HB machine guns, correctly configured for left- and right-hand ammunition feed, making such an improvised twin installation technically plausible.
The addition of an improvised gun shield reflects crew efforts to increase both firepower and survivability in combat conditions.
