1/35 SdKfz.250/3 "Grief" (2in1)

Dragon previously issued a 1/35 scale kit of the Sd.Kfz.250/3 "Greif", but that was based on a regular Sd.Kfz.250/3 platform. In actual fact, "Greif" featured an Sd.Kfz.250/Z Panzeraufbau armoured superstructure that had unique characteristics such as a vision port in the rear door and a different overhanging shape at the rear. This latest Dragon kit now provides these exact components to build the Desert Fox's halftrack mount. Furthermore, as it's a 2-in-1 kit, modellers can choose to build a regular Sd.Kfz.250/3 command halftrack as well. For ease of assembly and maximum accuracy, there's a brand new one-piece upper hull, while the lower hull also comes as a single piece. One of the most remarkable things about the kit, apart from all the foregoing, is the full interior that's included. This means there's an engine and transmission under the bonnet, as well as seats, radio sets and other details inside the fighting compartment. The kit is based on Dragon's excellent Sd.Kfz.250 series of halftracks, but now modellers can build an Sd.Kfz.250/3 with full interior to the very latest contemporary standards, as well as "Greif" for desert operations.
