The CtrlAX Ultrasonic Cutter is a second-generation ultrasonic cutting tool designed for fast, precise and efficient cutting. Operating at 40 kHz (40,000 vibrations per second), the ultrasonic action helps reduce cutting resistance for easier and more delicate material processing.
CtrlAX features five specialised blade types for different cutting applications and three selectable power modes - Eco, Comfort and Sport - allowing the cutting performance to be adjusted according to the material and task.
Suitable materials include ABS, PLA, resin, acrylic, carbon fibre, PVC foam board, MDF, plywood, leather and rubber, making it particularly useful for scale modelling, 3D-print post-processing, DIY projects and other precision cutting applications. It is not designed for cutting metal or glass.
