High Precision Grinding with an Ultrasonic Cutter
The abrasive grinding rod can be used for cutting, machining and grinding applications.
Suitable for precision finishing, metal polishing, hobby projects and industrial applications.
Available in 9 grit options ranging from #80 to #1200.
The grinding rod must be installed using the dedicated ZH53 Rod Anchor.
For ZO-41 and ZO-41II Users
By replacing the standard Blade Anchor with the dedicated Rod Anchor and installing an abrasive grinding rod, the ultrasonic cutter can be used as a simple ultrasonic polishing tool.
It is suitable for applications such as mould finishing, metal polishing and removing burrs from resin moulded parts.
Please Note:
The 2mm ceramic grinding rod cannot be made longer, as increasing its length would move it outside the operating frequency range of the ultrasonic cutter.
About the Abrasive Grinding Rod
The rod is made from next generation ceramic abrasive material similar to that used with electric micromotors, reciprocating files and professional ultrasonic polishing machines.
The dedicated ZH53 Rod Anchor allows the 2mm diameter grinding rod to be securely mounted and vibrated by the ultrasonic cutter.

When installed in the handpiece, the effective length is reduced by 11mm.

Replace the grinding rod when it becomes too short, as reduced length may affect performance.
