1/72 Antonov An-2 Colt on Skis

This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.

Antonov An-2 on skis - Before Mil's developed its heavy transport helicopters, remote camps and industrial sites in northern Siberia depended as much on bush flying as their Alaskan and Canadian counterparts still do today. The Antonov 2 was once in widespread use as Siberian bushplane, using floats to land on rivers and lakes in summer, skis to land on snow and ice in winter. CCCP-79584 reminds bypassers of its glory days at the entrance to Salekhard airport (Salekhard, Midnight July 25 to 262,000).
