The groundbreaking 1940 Ford Coupe set the bar for car production far higher than any previous vehicle. It was one of the first automotive designs to incorporate consumer influences in its design. Its high power, sleek shape, and comfortable styling would influence car design for years to come. Unfortunately, production of and improvement on the two styles of 1940 coupe was severely curtailed by America's entry into WWII. Kit features detailed factory stock flathead V-8, separate frame and rear fenders, and whitewall tire inserts.
