Let me say from the outset that this set is not for the feint hearted or a beginner to modelling. Each link requires 9 individual parts which results in something in the region of 1450 parts in total for tow track runs. Most tank kits don't even manage half that in a parts count! So don't expect an easy build and something that can be thrown together in a couple of evenings... But, don't let that put you off. Each part is perfectly moulded in brown styrene with no sign of flash anywhere and minimal clean up on parts restricted to sprue attachment points. Everything fits together exactly and once you get into a rhythm, construction isn't too much of a chore. Just be careful with the cement to unsure parts that don't want to be glued together aren't and you'll end up with a pair of tracks which fit Dragon and Tasca kits perfectly (Additional parts are included to adapt other manufacturer's drive sprockets etc) without having to worry about hiding vinyl track joins or with them being too loose or tight. The duckbills are a perfect addition and will look great on any Sherman which had them fitted, including the venerable Vc Firefly. Though unless you' re building a fresh vehicle, it's worth omitting random duckbills as they were often knocked off in service. I've given these a 5 star rating as I don't think you can downgrade these due to their perceived complexity. I certainly can't recommend them to beginners, but anyone else can put these together with patience and the end result is certainly worthwhile. I've just added some to a Firefly 1c and am about to order another set for a Jumbo build.
