1/72 WWII German Fw 189 A-1/A-2

This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.

This unusual twin-engined aircraft with its double tailfin, extensive wingspan and bubble-like glass cockpit, ideal for reconnaissance missions and optimum use of on-board photographic equipment - was built by Germany as a tactical reconnaissance aircraft to replace the old Hs-126, built in the 30s. Thanks to robust cell construction the FW-189 was difficult to shoot down: numerous cases of the aircraft making it back to base despite extensive damage were recorded.
