1/35 Staghound Mk.1 Armoured Car

This is a plastic model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So glue, model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required.

American made, British driven
Though it was manufactured in the US, the Staghound never saw service with the US Army. Instead, it was sent to the British, originally for use in North Africa, but, after the end of Operation Torch, in Italy. As armoured cars go, it was incredibly heavily armed and armoured. Its 9-44mm of armour and 37mm gun made it virtually a match for the early Panzer III prototype tanks Germany fielded in Poland. The kit features British, Belgian, Australian, Polish, and Italian decals plus photo-etched parts and a metal gun barrel.
