Built on the standard, but turretless Panther chassis, the Bergepanther was specifically designed to get the incredibly heavy German tanks out of harm's way. With vehicles like these, German forces were able to repair tanks that would otherwise have had to be replaced with fresh factory-built ones. This was critical with factory output consistently being interrupted by bombing. Whenever the panzer armies advanced, the Bergepanther could also be used to tow back enemy tanks and put them to work against their owners. The kit features two sets of decals.
