Arguably the finest cavalry available in the Americas, the Confederate Cavalry were experienced, well led, and incredibly daring. They lacked in equipment and in numbers throughout the war, but were able to provide decisive intelligence on Union troop positions for many of the hardest fought battles of the Civil War. Mounted forces were at a disadvantage in an age of rifled artillery and muskets, but their mobility still made them a force to be feared and respected on the field. Kit features 17 unpainted mounted figures.
