1/72 (Snap-Fit) German Sturmpioniers 1939-1942 (4 Figures)

(Type: model figures) This is a plastic snap fit model kit, which comes unassembled and unpainted. So model paints and other basic modelling tools are additionally required. This "snap fit" model can be assembled without glue.

This kit includes four plastic model German soldiers using engineering tools, four model barbed wire sets, two model "dragon's teeth" tank barriers, one plastic model bunker, and one plastic model bridge. The fieldworks are not in the same scale as the soldiers.

The Sturmpioniers were the combat engineers of the German Wehrmacht. These soldiers were responsible for building battlefield fortifications, clearing obstacles from the route of the army's advance, and destroying structures with well-placed demolition charges. Sturmpionier units were often equipped with specialized equipment to complete their missions, such as flamethrowers, hollow charges, and land mines.

The German engineers in this kit include one engineer armed with a flamethrower, two engineers equipped with metal detectors, and one engineer using wire cutters.

This kit also includes eight fieldwork pieces designed for use with the Art of Tactic WWII game.
