    Product Description
The Acrylic Resin is used to create mud volumes and textures. It is not white glue and it is designed for application with plaster and pigments. Mix with resin with plaster, Pigment colours and a little water and make dense mud effects. This product will dry slowly and is hard to remove once set.

    - Dry Mud Technique: You should mix 30% of plaster, 30% of acrylic resin and 40% of different pigments in a recipient. We recommend the P028 (Europe dust) with P027 (Light Dust). You can also add some Tamiya Buff colour if you want it. Mix it well, and apply it on your vehicle or diorama with an old paintbrush. You can add small branches, sand or natural earth if you want a thicker texture.

    - Fresh Mud Technique: You should mix 25% of plaster, 25% of acrylic resin, 15% of varnish acrylic glossy and dark pigments. We recommend the P028 (Europe Dust) with P023 (Smoke). If the mixture is very dense, you should add more varnish glossy.

    - Fixation of Materials in a diorama: You should mix the acrylic resin with stones, sand or natural earth. Once dry, you can paint it with acrylic or enamel paints.

Hardening of Plaster: For their high quality, the acrylic resin is good to harden pieces of plaster. Add it a 5% or 10% of resin in the mixture of plaster to get less fragile pieces.

Advice: Never add water to the mixture of mud. The resin needs to dry off during 1 hour after having applied it on your scale model.
